To spotlight local nonprofits where people can donate their time, energy and funds.  We hope to bring increased opportunities to the community to assist local charities by donating their time and help raise awareness of the hard working nonprofits in Arizona.

Kevin P. Bertoldo:Chairman of the Board


Kevin was born and raised in San Jose, California and attended Bellarmine College Preparatory. He graduated Arizona State University in December of 1998 with a BA in Communication. During his time at ASU, he volunteered with the American Heart Association.  Following college, Kevin was immediately hired to Cypress Semiconductor where he currently works today within Global Technical Sales.  He has volunteered with the Special Olympics and Toys for Tots in Florida and actively participated with Second Harvest Food Bank when living in San Jose.  In 2011 his family relocated from Florida back to Arizona and shortly after they had their first child in 2012, (Donato).  In 2016 his second son was born to complete their family (Carmine).  Together with his wife Jennifer, Kevin decided to commit his spare time to make a difference in the local communities. Devils Doing Good is an excellent way for us all to give back to multiple organizations throughout the year with just taking a little time to focus where it matters most...Home. Go Devils!


Jennifer Bertoldo: Board Member


Jennifer graduated from Dobson High in Mesa, AZ in 1994 and attended MCC for 2 years. In 1996 she transferred to ASU with her focus on Communication and Business Development. In 1998 she moved to San Jose, California and started working for Manpower Staffing a Technical and Executive recruiter.  It has always been a passion to help guide and train people how to professionally represent themselves.  In 2003 she launched SRS Resume Writing Services as a way to personally train unemployed or transitioned workers gain confidence in their job hunting.  In addition to starting Devils Doing Good, Jennifer is on the Board of Trustees for the Chandlers Childrens Medical and Dental Clinic where she focuses on fundraising and social medial marketing.  She has also been apart of the ICAN's DREAMBig planning team for 2018 & 2019.  The majority of her time is dedicated to the success of Devils Doing Good to make sure her sons, and all the future Sun Devils have an awesome future to look forward to in their Arizona local communities.

Nick DePorter: Board Member


Nick DePorter’s professional experience includes community relations, business development, strategic planning and higher education leadership. Nick works for LinkedIn serving as the Senior Field Organizer on the Economic Graph Team. Nick is responsible for partnering with companies, non-profits, education providers and governments to create economic opportunity for every member of the workforce.

Nick currently serves on the Chicanos Por La Causa - Health & Human Services Board, the City of Phoenix Business and Workforce Development Board, the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board, the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee, the Arizona State University - Career Services Advisory Board and as Vice Mayor for the Town of Fountain Hills. Nick holds a BA in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Arizona State University.

Max Gonzales: Board Member


Max Gonzales is Vice President of Administrations at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc (CPLC).  Max’s ability was instrumental in developing and implementing CPLC’s first ever brand and communication strategy.  Max’s management responsibility includes corporate communications, public and corporate relations, resource development, events, human resources, information and technology and research and evaluations. Prior to joining CPLC, Max dedicated more than 20 years to SRP, a water and power utility based in Tempe, Arizona.  The last decade of his SRP tenure, Max focused on the Hispanic consumer by leading service marketing, direct marketing, social marketing, market research, public relations, advertising and strategic planning. Max has used his skills to benefit a number of community organizations.  He previously held board positions with CPLC, Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Friendly House and Valle Del Sol.  He has also served in an advisory capacity to the College of Teacher and Education Leadership at ASU West, Hispanic Leadership Institute, Channel 8 and BizAZ Magazine. A native Arizonan, Max believes and lives the adage of continuous improvement.  He holds a bachelor’s in management and a Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
